We suggest people you have something in common with: interests, languages, region, and what the situational test says you lean toward. Every card names in words which of those it used. There is no percent and no score of any kind, and where there is little to go on the card says so instead of guessing. Who to write to is your decision.
Every optional field in your profile has its own audience: everyone, matches only, hidden, or not set. The choice is applied on the server, so a field you hide is not sent to anyone. You see of others what you show yourself. Contacts, exact address and documents are shown to nobody and cannot be published.
Invisible hides when you are online and when you will be back. A conversation can be paused or ended gently from its settings, and neither needs an explanation. Blocking takes effect at once and both ways: you stop being suggested to each other, and any conversation between you closes. A report is separate from a block, and the person reported is never told who reported them.
